The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication in the Directorate of Distance Education of Madurai Kamaraj University is one of the unique departments in the Directorate. The department currently offers P.G. program and U.G program in Journalism and Mass Communication.

Eligibility

  • Pass in 10+2 (or) Equivalent

Degree Overview 

The B.A. program intends to be inter/multidisciplinary scope and content. The various disciplinary backgrounds and expertise of faculty of the department would lend weight to structure the program in an inter/multidisciplinary canvas. This program is driven by three core areas

  • Media Production and Management
  • Media Analysis
  • Media Ethics
