The Department of Public Administration in the Directorate of Distance Education of Madurai Kamaraj University is one of the oldest departments in the Directorate started in late 1975s. The department currently offers both P.G. and U.G programs in Public Administration.

Eligibility

  • Pass in 10+2 (or) Equivalent

Degree Overview 

The B.A. program intends to be inter/multidisciplinary scope and content. The various disciplinary backgrounds and expertise of faculty of the department would lend weight to structure the program in an inter/multidisciplinary canvas. This program is driven by three core areas

  • Policy Analysis
  • International Relations

The B.A. program in Public Administration at the Directorate is a conventional program focusing on Public Administration, Politics and International Relations. It stresses the development of applied analytic tool skills, advanced cognitive abilities, and topical specialties allowing students to tailor the program to their interest.
